I’m a social psychologist (Dr. Soc. Sc.) specialized in digital business and work culture. As the Head of Culture Advisory at Futurice I help global organizations to transfer their work cultures and to create strategies that meet the needs of the digital era.
I’m an advocate of the Lean Service Creation -toolset, which we have developed to support human-centricity, learning, and experimentation at work. During the past years my work has spanned from industry to another, but the aim has always been the same – to create more meaningful work life.
Before joining Futurice I worked with multidisciplinary teams on a range of topics related to user experience (the academic publications are listed here). That work resulted also in my dissertation The Social Mediation of Everyday User Experiences which I successfully defended in December 2015. Until just recently I was also teaching a range of topics related to Social Psychology and Service Design at Open University, University of Helsinki, and Aalto University.
My passion is to turn complexity into accessibility and to help to design both services and cultures that are sustainable in every way possible. In terms of research I’m fascinated about boredom and intimacy in mediated contexts.
My previous affiliations include the Department of Social Research, Helsinki Institute for Information Technology HIIT, and BIT Research Center.
